Tickets are essential to permit guests access to public events. Event Hub streamlines the process of ticket distribution saving you repetitive administration and enhancing the customer experience with digital PDF tickets directly in their inbox.

To enable automated ticket distribution, digital PDF tickets must be added to the event. This article describes the process of adding digital tickets to your event. The How to attach tickets to Guests article details the steps on how to assign tickets to your guests.

Note: Only Client Administrator's can edit and update an event
including upload of digital tickets to the event.

Please check the following before proceeding to step 1.

  • Tickets are individual PDF files and not one big file with all the tickets. If the venue provided a bulk ticket file, split the pages/tickets first using a PDF splitter i.e ilovepdf.com. Check out this article on How to split a multi-page PDF file?
  • PDF ticket filename must have NO special characters (#, &, @, %,*)
as this will cause file upload error.
  • Need to rename ticket filenames? Use the Event Hub ticket renaming tool. Download the tool (works on windows based pc and laptop only)  and check out this article on How to rename PDF tickets?

Step 1.

Select the desired event from [BUILD EVENTS] and click [DIGITAL TICKETS] pill icon. To create a new event please see How to create an event?

Step 2.

Click [Upload] to upload the digital PDF Tickets.

If you have multiple tickets within a PDF these must
be split prior to upload. See note above just before step 1.

Step 4.

After upload, check that sufficient tickets have been uploaded. Additional tickets can be loaded by clicking [Upload].  Incorrectly uploaded tickets can be removed by selecting the ticket and clicking the [Delete] icon.

Step 5.

After upload, you can check to confirm the correct tickets have been uploaded by previewing the ticket. This can be done by highlighting and selecting on the desired ticket.

Step 6.

Once you've confirmed the correct tickets have been added to your event, you can decide whether to turn on automatic ticket attachment where tickets are automatically added to RSVP'd guests or turn off automatic ticket attachment where tickets are manually assigned to enable strategic seating of your guests.
